After years of development, K-Tube Technologies has successfully completed the feasibility stage of their CP Grade 2 Titanium tubing project.

The current scope of the material they are producing is limited to an OD range of .028 – .064” (0,71 – 1,63 mm) and a wall thickness range of .002 – .006” (0,05 – 0,15 mm).

Titanium has been used in the medical device industry for many years due to its biocompatibility properties. Due to this performance, titanium has traditionally been used in surgical implants for dental or orthopedics. It has rarely been used in the tubing form due to a lack of supply. With that situation now changing due to K-Tube’s recent development work, the team at K-Tube is excited to see what uses can be discovered!

We will have Ti tubing samples at our booth at Compamed.
Come have a look! Hall 8B/ K09.
