One of TSS’ core specialties include medical grade Silicone Sheeting and film. Being able to process both High Consistency Rubber (HCR) as well as Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR), TSS offers a wide variety of material options to meet your specific requirement.
TSS has developed a Gel-Spandex sheeting which demonstrates their expertise (US patent 7.645.916B2) and they have a patent pending for their LSR reinforced sheeting as well.
Processing takes place in cleanrooms certified Class 10,000 /ISO 7 and all production is compliant to FDA QSR, 21 CFR Part 820 and cGMP.
TSS has all the tooling and expertise in house to provide films and sheeting to your required specifications.
We can laminate the silicone to many different substrates. For reinforcement purposes the most commonly used materials are Nylon and Polyester. It is also possible to have the surface finished per your requirement. We can supply either spooled material or cut to length or shape.
CALENDERED SHEETING
TSS can consistently maintain thickness from 0.0254mm (0.001″) to 5.08mm (0.200″) thick using HCR material through the Calendering process. HCR silicone sheets and films are available with or without a reinforcement material, vulcanized and unvulcanized
KNIFECOATED FILMS & MEMBRANES
Through the Knife Coating process, using LSR, TSS can produce film and sheeting from 0.0127 mm thin (0.0005″) – reinforced and non-reinforced.
